Join the Bat Association of MSU for our fall Bat Walks, Wednesday, Sept 4th and Thursday, Sept 5th at 8PM!

RSVP on Facebook Here!

We will be leading a walk along the Red Cedar and with the help of the Wildlife Acoustics Echo Meter Touch Pro 2, we will be listening to the echolocation signatures of the bats in the area and talking about the different behaviors and ecological importance of Michigan’s 9 native bat species.

If you have an iphone, download the Wildlife Acoustics Echo Meter App and you can have the chance to save some bat recordings to your phone.

At the end of the walk we will be raffling off some great prizes including a bat box!

***This is a free educational event open to all. The walk will be wheelchair accessible. This event is also dependent on weather, and may be cancelled if there is rain. ***
