The Bat Association of MSU needs new people to join the e-board! We have several positions open and we would love to have you involved. You don’t have to be a bat expert to be on e-board, but you will probably become one.
Anyone who wants to work with wildlife and promote conservation efforts is welcome to join us. Commitment will include two meetings per month, and roughly one-two hours per week outside the meetings depending on the projects we are working on.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for organizing and conservation experience as well as helping make the world a better place for bats and people!
If you want to be considered for the election, please send us a short paragraph of your interests and any previous experience or skills you want to bring to the team. Include what role you want to run for.
Open Positions Include:
Treasurer – Coordinate our finances, help organize fundraisers, help look for funding and grant sources for events.
Education and Outreach Coordinator – Help with communication, answer e-mails and organize educational events
(2) Board members at large – We are looking to add an additional two members to our e-board to train for the two people who are graduating this year. This role would be filling in wherever needed, and we are hoping to fill this role with Freshman and Sophmores.
